She started off being quite detached and didn't show affection and seemed disconnected. But with the help of our staff and our volunteers she was exposed to love and attention and has come a long way to being more confident and loving life. Anja is good with children of all ages and would thrive in a family home as an only dog.

Bella was covered in mange and bite marks when she arrived. She is from Bishop Lavis and as bruised, injured and scared as she was kids tried to keep her safe at a school to no avail. Bella is not tolerant of other animals and needs to be the only dog. She is a complete cuddle love bug and will give her person all the companionship and love.

Gina is a girl in her senior years. She is not tolerate with other animals and would need to be the only pet. Due to being badly abused by children in the township, as part of the 'punishment' handed out to her for desperately drinking to end her severe thirst, she is not child friendly.

She can be with just about anyone!! A real independent lady that minds her own business but comes to you for play time. Sandy is from Khayelitsha. She was 9 months old when she was used to breed. Sandy is 3 years old. She is a happy girl who is one of the first dogs to welcome and take any willing volunteer for a walk! She is good with children, but needs to be the only queen of the castle.

This boy has never been in a home environment, without a body covered in mange. After many tears, coconut and neem oil and alot of patience... he trusted us enough to walk on a leash. His one floppy ear alone, makes him highly adoptable. Aiko is a sweet boy who will get along well with older kids and a docile female fur friend after a proper introduction.

Ash was locked in a room without food and water so that he could die of hunger and neglect! Ash is 3 years old and has SUCH a forgiving heart. He trusts humans again big and small. He does need to be the only furry member of the family, though and deserves to be doted on.

You give Bentley one look and your heart is stolen! He was named after the classic car, Bentley because of all the excess skin on his face. Bentley is a goofy and funny boy with a kangaroo hop in his walk. He is around 2 years old. Bentley would prefer to be the only furry child. He is not scared to show affection once he's learnt to trust you.

Just one look in his eyes and you'll see the love. Bullet comes from family for which he was extremely protective of and more than once was abandoned by them. His guardian angel reached out to us to avoid his heart being broken repeatedly. Don't let his size fool you, he still thinks he's a lapdog and craves all the attention, thus would love to be the only 4 legged baby. He finds loud noises, and like any big guy he will protect, especially women and kids.

He is around 2½ years old. Dapper was a victim of dogfighting. He was left behind for death. All alone because he didn't win the fight. But here at Indelicate he is loved and allowed his space as he is understandably nervous and weary. A potential owner would need to be committed to spending time with Dapper to build his trust and develop a bond with him.

This super friendly boy is almost 2½ years old. Might go with a female friend bigger than him with a relaxed personality or even tempered female and will play and love with her non stop! Drake loves children big and small and will kiss your face off if you allow him. Not to mention nibble your chin!

Our Pocket Pitty. If you want energy and love all in one, he\s your little guy! Gunther is still a young boy, just over 1 year old and would love to have a family of his own. He absolutely adores children and just wants give kisses run around and lay on your lap. He will fit perfectly in with an active family.

James is 3 years old. An animal angel who does animal rescue in the area picked him up and immediately took him for medical attention. He then came to us. James is getting better and better with trust. He can be a goof ball and loves to play. James can, with a very good introduction, be with a large breed female dog that is calm and not reactive.

Jock came to us at 6 months old. He is almost 2 years old and is still with us in the kennels he is one amazing dog he loves people big and small he is a very affectionate dog - he just wants to be loved and played with and more love and treats and some more love. Jock loves outdoor activities and will fit in perfectly with an active family.

He got this name because it means "free one". He's a young boy of around 1 year old. Kanoa could be introduced to another female. He plays well with older kids as he has alot of energy and is quite a big boy. Kanoa would be so grateful to be part of a family where he can live a full and active life.

Oreo is around 3 years old. An escape artist. But a personality that one just wants to love. He is suggested where he can be lazy and sleep in the sun on his own bed. He was taken off the street and came to us aggressive. Today, Oreo is one of our most sociable dogs "with people". He is playful and goofy and absolutely obsessed with his ball!

He was attacked by his brother, and the brother was given up in order to keep Pablo. He was surrendered because he also fought with his other sibling. Pablo is approximately 1 and a half years - 2 years old and needs to be the only dog in the home. He would thrive with an alpha owner who has a firm, but loving hand to introduce boundaries with positive reinforcement.

When Storm first arrived with us he was extremely reactive towards other dogs. We were not able to take him from his kennel without being concerned about his reaction. We worked with him and allowed him the time and space to feel safe and loved. He has since proven to be such a loving and affectionate boy.

Spook was surrendered to us by his owners as they had to move to an apartment and unfortunately could not take him along. He's a big boy which means he needs a human with a firm hand but a soft heart. He's been in the kennels for almost 2 years, and he deserves a place to call home. He loves people but not other 4 legged children. He is 3 years old and has so much left of his life!

The perfect distinguished gentleman for a family or person wanting the softest, sweetest fur baby... Ravishing Rio. Rio is a low energy, easy-going boy who is looking for a family to love, a soft bed to sleep in and a comfy couch to cuddle on! Rio has so much love to give and with ALL his amazing awesomeness, needs to be an only fur baby.

Rocco comes from a dog fighting pit in Mitchell’s Plain. Today Rocco knows what love is. Although still nervous, of men, Rocco is older now and has learnt to trust. He would prefer to be the only dog. In his own quiet way, he will give his love and loyalty but will need some time to build up a relationship with his potential Owner.

Thor was dumped at the side of the road. After intensive rehabilitation, Thor is up for adoption, but would need to go to an experienced home as he still needs time to build trust. The person who wants to adopt Thor has to come and work with him at our facility a few times so that both are comfortable with each other. Thor must be the only pet.

Zeus has a high toy drive and got into a fight with one of his siblings. He was surrendered due to this. He has a sweet personality and is very obedient. He wants to please you all the time and loves laying in your lap. He needs reassurance and needs to know he is safe. The person who falls in love with Zeus needs to work with him for a while before adoption.
